Carbon Capture Technologies

How does Carbon Capture Technologies work? Will it work for my industry?

We have a versatile Amine-based Carbon Capture Solvent, Oocanol™. The Post Combustion Carbon Capture process is applicable for all industries. Our Technology works works effectively for CO2 concentration as low as 2% and as high as 30%. The important feature is that we are able to process the low pressure feed gas which is generally a challenge. Oocanol has high CO2 affinity and it absorbs CO2 just like a sponge absorbs water, whenever in contact. Utilities like Steam, Water, Electricity etc is needed for cooling and heating the solvent.

What is the cost of Carbon Capture?

We boost of having a very cost effective solution. The cost can very between US$ 30 - US$ 40, depending upon process parameters of different companies. Parameters like the flue gas composition and the required capture rate are the main parameters. Our machines and modular and scalable, which means the whole decarbonization project can be carried out in different phases. Moreover, we are constantly working on to improve the solvent quality to reduce the Carbon Capture cost.

What is the Capture capacity of the machines?

We provide customized solutions as per the Client requirements. We offer from 5 Ton CO2 Capture / day and upwards, which can be as high as 1000 Tons CO2 Capture / day or more. We also provide lab scale solutions which can be as low as 500 Kg CO2 Capture / day. 

How do we support our Clients?

The first thing we need from our Clients is the flue gas composition and we design the whole system as per the data provided. We support in the Carbon capture process from feasibility analysis to commissioning of the machine complex which includes process integration & optimization and CO2 Utilization. We provide Market analysis for CO2 Utilization options and what works best for our Clients. Our technology is focused on having the lowest factory footprint, which directly affects the CAPEX and OPEX.

We help our clients to step in the circle of Circular economy. We also have a role to play in low carbon Hydrogen which along with CO2 is used to make alternate fuels. In short, we help our clients to reach their goals in their respective businesses, both in terms of Carbon Neutrality and economic activity.

How to make profit from CO2 Capture? How does it benefit me?

All of our Clients produces tremendous amount of CO2 everyday and this CO2 is treated as a raw material. This CO2 is converted into valuable chemicals and these chemicals are used in-house or sold in the open market. The projects provide a stable revenue stream for our Clients. The Carbon Credits are the added benefits which also results in good economic gains.

Carbon Utilization Technologies

What are Carbon Utilization Technologies?

Our Carbon Utilization Technologies focuses main on using CO2 as a process fluid. We use Supercritical CO2 for Dyeing, Drying, Micronization, Extraction etc. It is a versatile technology which greatly reduces the OPEX compared to the existing processes. We also provide CO2 conversion projects coupled with out Carbon Capture projects where CO2 is used as a raw material to manufacture Methanol, Methane, Urea, Soda Ash, Sustainable Aviation Fuel etc. Our CO2 Utilization projects are a true Waste to Wealth projects.

How can I benefit from this?

Our processes increase the product quality while reducing the operating costs.

The dyeing technology reduces the dyeing cost by almost 50% with superior quality dyeing in less time.

Food Drying technology has lower operating costs but without the side effects of traditional food drying techniques. The product quality is better in terms of Shelf life, taste, texture and nutrition.

Our extraction process gives better quality end-products .

Natural products are produced for cosmetics with increased shelf life and product quality.

All this can be achieved with lower operating costs because of the low energy requirements of the process fluid and the reason that the CO2 is recycled after every batch, which means same CO2 is used for many cycles.

What kind  of support and services are provided?

We provide end to end support to all our Clients, starting from the feasibility studies to the point of successful operation of the machines. Special care is taken to reduce the CAPEX of the projects and factors like the location, quality of end products, utility costs etc are taken in consideration. Special care is taken during the machine design so that almost all manpower  of different technical levels of knowledge can operate the machines which results in easier operations. The machines are fully automated so that minimum manpower is required.

We also provide maintenance services to all our Clients.

We also provide R&D services to our Clients to explore new avenues and make the existing ones profitable and energy efficient with better product quality.
