Technology

We have Solvent-based Carbon capture Technology. Our Carbon Capture facility uses Amine-based technology and makes the captured CO2 available for onsite use. We have developed an advanced new solvent, Oocanol™, which has very low cost of carbon capture. The role of an efficient solvent is of paramount importance in the Capture process because the Solvent comes in direct contact with the flue gases and with high selectivity absorbs the one gas we want to eliminate, which is CO2. Oocanol acts with CO2 just how Sponge acts with Water.

Industry Specific Solvent

Oocanol is a very versatile solvent. We serve our Clients in many industries and the solvent is designed accordingly. We have Oocanol-C for Cement Industry, Oocanol-OG for Oil & Gas, Oocanol-M for the Metal Industry, Oocanol-BP for Biogas and Pyrolysis plants. The solvent design is as per the flue gas compositions from industries. 

High Carbon Carrying Capacity

Oocanol has high carbon capacity because of its chemistry. Compared to conventional carbon capture solvents, Oocanol has more than double the CO2 capture capacity.

Smaller Factory Footprint

The unique chemistry of Oocanol directly affects the size of the machine complex. Because of its low energy energy requirement and higher carbon carrying capacity, the size of the machine is reduced by almost 50% compared to the conventional technologies. This directly reduces the CAPEX of the project.

Lower Energy Requirements

Energy or Heat is required by the solvent to preform the function it is supposed to perform. If a solvent has higher energy requirements, it increases the OPEX greatly and this undermines the profitability of the project. Compared to the market standards, Oocanol has 70% lower energy requirements which greatly reduces the capture cost and OPEX.

Scalable Modular Design

Compact, modular design makes our technology repeatable, adaptable, and efficient on capital costs at all scales. Decarbonization is a long term project and goal hence scalable system is very important so the projects can be done in different phases at different points of time.

Flexible & Simplified Process

The Solvent's ability to capture different concentrations of CO2 in the flue gases makes it applicable to almost all industries. The goal is to make Carbon Capture profitable for our Clients and the projects are designed in such a way. The flexibility to choose what happens to the captured carbon is very important and solutions are provided as such. The machine operations are fully automated, requiring minimum manpower for operation and the machine components are of simple design so that maintenance is not a hassle.
